About Faces and Places Photography

Who's This Gary Everyone is Talking About?

What's In The Name?

Welcome to Faces & Places Photography, where I capture life's most precious moments and breathtaking vistas!

The name isn't a catchy phrase for no reason - it's the essence of what I do. "Faces" represents my passion for portrait and wedding photography, while "Places" embodies my love of landscape photography. It's like I'm serving a delicious main course of people-centric shots with a side of nature's finest views! Cool Huh?

When it comes to portraits, I'm excited about every detail! From lighting to poses to facial expressions. I try juggling it all to create the best images I can. Sometimes, communicating a vision to my subjects feels like a game of charades, but the results? Always worth it!

Weddings are an adrenaline rush. It's like being a secret agent on a mission - I quite often only have one opportunity to capture a specific moment in time, and the clock is always ticking. But don't worry, I thrive under pressure! I like to interact with everyone throughout the day, making sure it's not just me having a blast, but also those in front of the camera. And the best part? Reliving the entire event all over again while reviewing the photos later. It's like time travel, minus the DeLorean!

Now, let's talk landscapes. This is where I indulge my inner explorer. Armed with my camera, I venture to secluded locations, chasing sunrises and scouting perfect shots along riverbanks. It's my excuse to play hide-and-seek with nature's beauty. Plus, it gives me a valid reason to say, "Sorry, can't make it to that meeting. I'm off to capture the essence of Earth's magnificence!" (Okay, maybe I don't actually say that, but I'm certainly thinking it!)

At Faces & Places Photography, I'm not just taking pictures - I'm creating memories, telling stories, and occasionally tripping over tree roots in the pursuit of the perfect landscape. So, why not let me bring my passion, expertise, and bubbly personality to your special event. After all, life's too short for boring!

Mobile Phone Photography

For some time now I have been conducting workshops on the topic of Mobile Phone Photography. They have proved so popular that I have decided to make the program available online.
