Charity Fundraiser

This testimonial has come from Sarah Campbell who was the organizer of the Omokoroa Pink Ribbon Breakfast.

This was in the form of an email that was sent out to all of the 110 participants who attended the event to support the breast cancer fundraising efforts.

My role on the day was to capture the event for the various entities wanting images. Images were required for -

1. The organiser(s) of the event (Sarah Campbell and others)

2. The Omokoroa Golf Club (where the event was held)

3. Brittany (The head chef on the day) for the food shots

4. The local paper 'The Lizard News' (for their next edition)

5. All participants who attended the event

I very much enjoyed working with Sarah, and hope to do so again in the future.

80th Birthday Party (Thames)

This birthday party was held in the Te Puru hall. Te Puru is a small coastal town just north of Thames on the Coromandel Pennisnsula.

Here are some of the comments I managed to capture from Facebook once I released the gallery to the family.

Wedding

This Facebook post was a thank you from the bride and groom, with a link to the photos so that family, friends and wedding guests could view the images taken on the special day.

The post continued with the two mother in-laws commenting, and then other family members and guests joined in to continue the conversation.

The text is very small on his email, so let me re-type it -

"Wow! Hands down the best set of photos I've had back from guests. Is that your own photo business? Hope you can get these out there and generate some feedback for us both! Thanks again, glad you enjoyed the visit on such a great day here."

Event Description:

4WD Buggy Tour

We went on a holiday down to the South Island and spent some time in and around the Queenstown area. One of the tours we went on was with Delta Discovery, where we hired an electric 4 wheel drive buggy and explored the Dart River region. Naturally I had my camera with me.

Once we got home I sent the owner of the business some of the shots taken on the day. This was his email back to me once he had viewed the online gallery I had created for him.

About This Blog

This Faces and Places Photography website has been set up to document the journey of Tauranga and Bay of Plenty portrait photographer Gary Meynell.

The "Faces" portion in the name represents the people who have come into the photographers life, either as a client or as someone who contributed to his photography journey.

The "Places" portion in the name represents places he has been to photograph. This may be for portrait sessions, or it may be wedding venues, as he also makes himself available as a second shooter for weddings.
